In addition to serious interactions with nitrates, PDE5 inhibitors may also interact with certain antibiotics, such as erythromycin, and acid blockers, such as cimetidine (Tagamet, generic). Inform your doctor about all medications you take.
Some gay and bisexual men pair recreational drugs (such as crystal methamphetamine) with sex in what is referred to as chemsex or party’n’play. Men may also take erectile dysfunction medications in this situation, often for purposes such as lengthening the time taken to reach orgasm, maintaining erections for prolonged periods or to counteract the loss of erections caused by chemsex drugs. For some men, using these medications can also serve to mask a lack of sexual confidence and self-esteem, or even low desire. It’s also possible to develop unreasonable expectations of your erectile performance.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is when you can’t get and maintain a satisfying erection for sex. ED affects more than 30 million men in the United States. It is a topic that several men still find hard to talk about.
In many cases, erectile dysfunction is caused by something physical. Common causes include:
If ED comes from a blocked artery leading to the penis, surgery can restore blood flow. The procedure usually works best on men under 30. Doctors don’t recommend it for older men with widespread narrowing of the arteries.

"We were given information by those land users saying that they were seeing reduced litter sizes, fewer pups ... at some of these traplines," he said. "So they were concerned that there might have been a reproductive failure.
Tadalafil shares the common side effects of the PDE5 inhibitors, however, due to its effect on PDE11, another phosphodiesterase located in muscle, tadalafil has been associated with muscle aches. Back pain and muscle aches occur in less than 7% of men taking tadalafil and in most patients will go away without treatment within 48 hours. When treatment was necessary, acetaminophen (Tylenol) and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) or naproxen (Aleve) were effective. Rarely do the muscle aches and back pain cause men to stop using tadalafil.
